100 Things I Love About Travel (with Pictures) #100-#90

Published on September 24, 2010 by Adam in Photography, Video

Last week on Twitter’s TNI, the topic was Wonders of the World (read this if you don’t know what #TNI is).  The first question was Which world wonders have you visited?  I answered it nonchalantly: Grand Canyon. Machu Picchu. Angkor Wat. Iguazu Falls. PeritoMoreno Glacier. The Taj Mahal. Salar de Uyuni.

Someone commented on how it was quite a list.  It got me thinking, that yes, that is quite a list, and as I sat here at home in my office, lamenting the fact that I was here, at home, in my office, and not out traveling the world at the moment, I started to feel blessed.  Blessed that I have been fortunate thus far in my young life to have seen and done so many amazing things around the world.  So I thought to myself, “Man, I just love traveling.  There are so many things I love about it.”

So I started brainstorming and jotting down a list.  Nothing terribly specific, but just broad, general aspect of travel that I love.  Naturally I thought of how I can work it into a blog post, so I started fumbling through pictures and thought it would be cool to make a list of 25 random things I love about travel, complete with pictures.

Well the list started to grow and grow and grow some more, until I had to cap it at 100.  I know how finicky interweb users are about slow load times, so I figured it would be a good idea to split these up into 10 separate posts.

So starting today and every Friday for the next 9 weeks, I will post my top 100 things I love about travel, complete with pictures.
