Our most recent post broke down everything you need to know about visiting Perito Moreno Glacier. While helpful information is always good, pretty pictures are even better. One tip for anyone visiting Perito Moreno is to keep your video camera running if you have one.
One of the most impressive parts of visiting the glacier is seeing and hearing the thunderous sound of icebergs calving from the face of the glacier. Seeing and hearing this in person is absolutely amazing, and capturing it on video is a stroke of luck. But if you are able to, you’ll be very thankful to revisit the sights and sounds.

Catching the calving was also a major highlight
We were lucky enough to rolling video when the largest chunk of ice we saw all day fell of the face of the glacier. We were on the boat and pretty close, and it was an amazing experience. Because of the infamous Patagonian wind, the sound doesn’t come through as vividly as in person, but it’s still pretty awesome. Enjoy!
