World Travel for Couples is not the only website to find my writing.  Check out these other sites to find more of my published travel articles, guest posts, and interviews.

The Wander Year-  The blog that started it all.  Here is the blog we kept while on our RTW trip.

BootsnAll- My professional writing career started with BootsnAll, when I innocently pitched an idea for an article in early 2010.  I have since been a regular contributor, and I will continue writing for this site as it is one we used most when planning for our round the world trip.  I really dig what they’re doing at Boots and am excited to be a part of their team.

Lonely Planet - Long Term Travel as a Couple-Should you Do It? – Lonely Planet certainly needs no introduction, so when LP writer Leif Peterson was on twitter looking for couples who had gone on long trips, I responded immediately.  I was interviewed for the above article and am quoted several times, in addition to having this site linked on it.

Guest Posts

A big part of blogging and running your own travel website is becoming part of the travel and travel blogging community.  One thing we all like to do is guest post on each other’s blogs to give ourselves more exposure.  I have guest posted or been interviewed on several blogs over the last 6 months.  Check them out below.

Travel Dudes - Wise Up:  Don’t Follow the Masses on your Salt Flats Tour - This is an article I wrote for a great site about why I think it’s better to start your Salt Flats Tour in Bolivia from the less popular city of Tupiza instead of Uyuni.

Where I’ve Been - I Love you India, I Hate you India:  5 Tips on Surviving this Amazing Country – I wrote this article for the very popular Where I’ve Been blog about surviving one of the wackiest, craziest, most unique country I’ve ever been.

No Place to BeMeet a Random Traveler – Poi and Kirsty, a lovely British couple who is currently traveling around the world, has a really cool series where they interview random travelers from twitter and real life.  I was lucky enough to take part.

A Pair of Panties and Boxers - Do Good Thursday: Pure! for Kids in Cambodia – This guest post is about our time at an orphanage in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with a wonderful organization.

A Dangerous Business - Thursday Traveler - Every Thursday, Amanda from A Dangerous Business shines the spotlight on a fellow traveler.  A few months back, she shined the spotlight on me.

Travel with a Mate - Life After a RTW Trip – This interview was with a great site, Travel with a Mate, and gets into what happens after you return from a long term trip like ours.

YTravelBlog – Caz and Craig of the yTravelBlog are some of my favorite bloggers and run one of my favorite sites, so writing a guest post for them and being interviewed was an absolute honor.

Teaching Traveling - Interview about teacher’s traveling – In my former life, I was a high school teacher, so I was more than willing to be interviewed for Lillie’s new site, Teaching Traveling, where she has done a superb job in a short amount of time.  The site is chock full of great information about teaching, traveling, and teaching while traveling.

Got Saga5 Places to Take Someone in St. Louis – How Patricia gets so much information up on her site so often astounds me.  She must never sleep.  I love the site, and when she asked me to write a guest post about my hometown of St. Louis, I jumped at the chance.

Briefcase to Backpack - Preparing for Long Term Travel with your Partner – One of the top career break/sabbatical sites on the interwebs, Michaela (who is also a big part of Meet, Plan, Go) does a fantastic job inspiring others to buck the trend and think outside the box.  I was very excited to be able to write a post for them about our experience traveling as a couple.
